Gaming with Bharat is an application and streaming utility built around DiscordTTS by Dead Keyboard xD. The application can read messages from a configured Discord channel and YouTube Live Chat and convert them to spoken audio. This Privacy Policy explains what information the application accesses, how it is used, where it is processed, and the choices available to users.

1. Information the application accesses

Google and YouTube data

When YouTube functionality is enabled, the application uses Google OAuth to request the permissions shown on the Google consent screen. The application uses the YouTube API to identify and access the live-chat information needed for the selected YouTube livestream, including live-chat messages and associated public channel information needed to display or speak a participant name.

Discord data

The Discord bot reads messages from the configured Discord channel so that they can be filtered, processed, converted to speech, and played locally. Discord display names or usernames may be used for the optional spoken speaker-name announcement and voice assignment.

Credentials

The application stores its Discord bot token, Sarvam API key, and, when YouTube is enabled, the YouTube OAuth credential in the application's local Windows credential storage. Credentials are not intentionally embedded in the distributed executable.

2. How information is used

Information accessed by the application is used only to provide the application's core features, including:

receiving eligible YouTube Live Chat messages;
receiving messages from a configured Discord channel;
filtering, sanitizing, transliterating, or preparing text for speech;
sending speech-generation input to Sarvam AI;
playing generated audio on the creator's configured local audio device; and
assigning configured voices to Discord or YouTube participants.

3. Google user data

The application's use of Google user data is limited to the YouTube functionality described in this policy. Google/YouTube data is not sold to third parties, is not used for advertising, and is not used for unrelated profiling. Google data is not used to determine creditworthiness, insurance eligibility, employment eligibility, or similar high-impact decisions.

The application does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, Google Calendar, or unrelated Google services.

4. Storage and retention

The application is designed to process chat messages for TTS rather than maintain a permanent chat archive. Generated audio files are created temporarily for local playback and are removed after playback where supported by the application workflow. OAuth and credential information required for future sessions may remain in local Windows credential storage until the user removes or revokes it.

This public website is a static informational site. It does not require website visitors to create an account and, in the current implementation, it does not intentionally use advertising cookies or third-party analytics.

5. Third-party services

The application interacts with third-party services to provide its functions:

Google / YouTube: OAuth authorization and YouTube API access.
Sarvam AI: transliteration and text-to-speech generation, including supported cloned voices.
Discord: Discord bot and channel message delivery.

Data sent to these services is subject to the respective service's terms and privacy policies. The application does not control how an external service handles information after it has been transmitted to that service.

6. Voice cloning

Where a Sarvam AI cloned voice is configured, the application sends the text intended for speech to Sarvam AI using the configured voice identifier. Voice cloning should only be used where the person whose voice is cloned has provided appropriate permission or authorization.

7. Security

The application uses local credential storage for sensitive authentication material and avoids placing the application's API keys directly in the public website. Users should keep their Windows account secure and revoke third-party access when the application is no longer needed.

8. Your choices

You can disable the YouTube feature in the application's configuration, revoke the application's Google access from your Google account, remove locally stored application credentials, or stop using the application at any time.

9. Children's privacy

Gaming with Bharat is not designed to knowingly collect personal information directly from children. The application should be used in accordance with the rules of Discord, YouTube, Google, and the laws applicable to the person operating the service.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the application's data practices or the services it uses change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are published.
